The ASA Ethical Guidelines Review Working Group (EGG) will: Invite wider the ASA membership to put forward ethics issues, express concerns and make suggestions etc. around research. Consider different systems of ethical review etc. and collate the ethical forms used by different institutions.
To these ends the Association has adopted the following set of ethical guidelines to which individual ASA Members should subscribe. They follow the educational model for professional codes, aiming to alert researchers to issues that raise ethical concerns or to potential problems and conflicts of interests that might arise in the research process.
